Eddie (Ryan Guzman) and Buck (Oliver Stark) are heading to Tennessee for a special two-hour crossover event between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville airing Thursday, March 5, on ABC. The crossover kicks off in the 9-1-1 episode "Dads and Cads" where Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Buck receive some surprising news. The drama continues in 9-1-1: Nashville's "Spirit of the Games" as Eddie and Buck arrive in town for the national firefighting games.
PEOPLE has an exclusive clip from the crossover, which finds Eddie and Buck marveling at the "intense" Station 113 crew as Chris O'Donnell's Captain Don Hart gives his team a rousing speech ahead of the competition.

"There are moments in life when we find out what we're made of," Don begins as the inspiring music rises. "They are grueling, terrifying and will tear your guts inside out. Well, my friends, this is one of those moments. You're going to remember what happened here when you faced your greatest foes. Those that are much more ruthless and unrelenting than any fire. I just pray to God that you can tell your grandkids we buried them in our dust."
The camera then pans to a bemused Eddie and Buck, who have been watching Don's over-the-top pep talk. "The Nashville folks are kind of intense," Eddie muses, as Buck declares, "Yeah. I can't wait to kick their asses."

Stark, 34, previously teased the big crossover to PEOPLE, promising that it would be a "really fun" episode. He also shared what it was like working with the 9-1-1: Nashville cast.

"It was really lovely," he said at the time. "What I found was it was a really nice balance between familiarity, because it was the world of 9-1-1 that by this point I like to think I know very well, but then it was also really fresh because it was new characters to interact with to strike up relationships with."
He continued, "It was a new crew for us to work with. So yeah, it was this really lovely balance of new and old, and I had a great time out there and I've been a fan of their show since it started. So, no, I felt really honored to be one of the ones asked to go out and do this episode. And I think it came together really nicely."
As for whether or not he'd be up for more crossovers in the future, Stark said, "Listen, I'll go back anytime they ask me."
