Adam Sandler celebrated 23 years of marriage to his wife Jackie by getting a plane to skywrite their anniversary
The couple met on the set of Big Daddy in 1998 and married in a Malibu ceremony in 2003
Their daughters, Sadie and Sunny, have appeared in Adam's films, including You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah
Adam Sandler is proving that he's still a romantic after all these years!
The actor, 59, celebrated 23 years of marriage with his wife, Jackie Sandler, 51, by writing their anniversary in the sky!
A plane flew over them and spelled out: "23 A 🤍J" in the clear, blue sky, and Adam snapped this sweet moment before uploading it to his Instagram on Monday, June 22.
"Happy 23rd anniversary to my sweetheart. Love you forever," he captioned the image.

Their eldest daughter, Sadie Sandler, 20, commented: "❤️❤️❤️," while many fans congratulated the couple. One wrote: "This or nothing! 🔥"
Another said: "This is the cutest! Happy Anniversary to you both🎉🍾🥂🎉💖💙❤️."

Many Los Angeles locals claimed they saw the aircraft writing the message out. "We saw this in Venice today!! 🔥😍😍," one said. Another commented: "I saw the plane writing this 🥹."
Adam and Jackie reportedly met on the set of Big Daddy in 1998, where she played a waitress at the local sports bar.
Adam marked the day he was introduced to his future bride on his Instagram in 2020, writing: "22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl."

The pair tied the knot on June 22, 2003, in an outdoor ceremony at Dick Clark's oceanfront Malibu estate.

The couple welcomed Sadie in May 2006, and the comic actor announced the newborn's arrival on his website, writing, "Kid is healthy!! Wife is healthy!!"

Jackie and Adam later welcomed a second daughter, Sunny Sandler, in November 2008. The girls have appeared in a few of their father's films, including Hubie Halloween, Hotel Transylvania and Murder Mystery. In 2023, the family teamed up for the Netflix comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
Model Jackie has also made cameos in her husband's movies, including 50 First Dates, Grown Ups, The Wrong Missy and Hubie Halloween.

Adam spoke to PEOPLE at the premiere of Jay Kelly, at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles in November 2025, where he shared that the secret to his long-lasting marriage is that he and Jackie genuinely enjoy each other's company.
"We're very close. We like to talk, like to laugh, like to have fun, and like to think about things and take care of our kids," Adam said.
The Grown Ups star also noted that he was so grateful to be successful in both his professional and personal life.
"I'm just more thankful than I've ever been," he told PEOPLE. "Happy I got to do this life, happy all the people who've been with me during all this stuff, and helped me out, and [it's] just been a phenomenal time. My whole family's always been great to me. My wife and I talk about stuff, and what to do, and what to do next, and it's just been a very cool life," he says.
