Things are going from sweet to sour for *The Bachelorette* and *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*.

The beloved baked goods company Cinnabon has cut ties with the two reality shows amid controversy regarding star Taylor Frankie Paul.

"Cinnabon has made the decision to terminate its collaboration with *The Bachelorette* and *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*," a spokesperson said Tuesday in a statement to **. "Recent developments and allegations surrounding the lead cast member led us to reassess this collaboration as it no longer aligns with our brand values."

The news comes a day after Utah's Draper City Police Department confirmed to EW that an active investigation had been launched into allegations of a domestic assault incident between Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen. TMZ* *first reported the news.

Draper City police first confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday that allegations of domestic assault "have been made in both directions" between Paul and Mortensen. Officers were in contact with the former couple on Feb. 24 and 25. Another source told the outlet that because of the allegations, the rest of the *Mormon Wives* cast refused to work with Paul, leading to an abrupt halt in production on season 5.

EW has reached out for comment to representatives for Paul; Mortensen; Hulu, which streams *Mormon Wives*; and ABC, which airs *The Bachelorette*.

Cinnabon announced a collaboration with the two shows on March 9. The new Swirled Soda, "inspired by the viral beverage trend popularized" on *Mormon Wives*, was unveiled alongside a "limited-time *Bachelorette*-themed packaging for CinnaPacks and *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* –themed cup sleeve for the Swirled Sodas."

A look at the new products was shared via a joint Instagram post (since deleted) from the official *Mormon Wives* and *Bachelorette* accounts on March 12.

Paul, who founded the Mormon TikTok influencer community MomTok chronicled on *Mormon Wives*, has dated Mortensen on and off since 2022. They share a son, Ever, who turns 2 on Thursday.

A source close to the matter told* *EW that none of Paul's three children were present during the alleged domestic incident, and that cameras weren't rolling either.

Season 4 of *Mormon Wives* premiered on Hulu last week. Season 22 of *The Bachelorette*, which Paul was chosen to lead in September, premieres Sunday.

The season has already drawn controversy due to Paul's recent admission on an episode of *Mormon Wives* that she spent the night with Mortensen just one day before filming commenced on *The Bachelorette*.
