Country star Ella Langley playfully reacted to rapper Doja Cat's response to not knowing who she is.
In a new interview with Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, the interviewer delivered a Darth Vader versus an elevator joke to Doja, which didn't land. Following up the joke, he went on to ask the rapper, "Did you think I was talkin' about Ella Langley? Are you an Ella’s Fella?”
To which the 30-year-old replied, "I don’t know what that is.” This comes as Doja brutally mocked fellow rapper Tyga after he released his latest album, which was made using generative artificial intelligence.

Unable to tell if Doja was joking or not, Caleb went on to ask if Doja was a fan of Ella. To this, Doja responded, "I don’t know what that is. Ella Langley? Ella Langley."
Caleb then played Ella's chart-topping hit song 'Choosin' Texas', which has been No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the past 19 weeks. Sharing her reaction to the heartbreak country song, Doja said, "She has a very pretty voice but I just don't give a f--k about country music."
She continued, "I don’t understand what’s so hard to believe about that. I never cared. I like that one Keith Urban song from 2004. I wouldn’t say that I like [Ella Langley's] music; she’s probably a fine lady. I don’t care for that type of s--t at all. It doesn’t inspire me, it doesn’t make me feel good.”

After Doja's comments went viral online, Ella hilariously responded to the remark on social media. In her new Instagram post, the 27-year-old singer was seen staring deadpan at the camera while getting makeup applied backstage with the caption, "Ella Langley? What is that?"

Under the post, fans immediately caught onto the joke, with many taking to the comment section showcasing their support for the country singer. One person commented, "Let’s ask the billboards if they know what a Doja Cat is."
Another fan added, "Lol Doja doesn't really want the smoke [laughing emoji]."
While a third person commented, "Messy with that caption [laughing emoji] it’s what I’m here for."
Someone else complimented, "YOU ARE TRULY ICONIC."

Ella's post comes as she continues on the second leg of her nationwide 'The Dandelion Tour' following the release of her second album in April. Some upcoming stops on her tour include Alabama, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Tennessee.
As for Doja, she is currently on her 'Tour Ma Vie World Tour' following the release of her fifth studio album. The 30-year-old singer is performing across North America throughout the fall, and will conclude her world tour in New York City on December 1.
