Drake Maye’s Week 6 Fantasy Outlook vs. New York Jets
Maye has scored at least 25 fantasy points in consecutive games for the first time in his career, including the best fantasy performance of his young career last week.
There is still some reason to keep expectations in check. Both of Demario Douglas’ touchdowns last week came on blown coverages, and that kind of defensive mistake isn’t something fantasy managers can count on every week.
The matchup still makes Maye difficult to move away from. The last time the Jets faced an established starting quarterback, Jared Goff completed 25 of 32 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns, and New York has not consistently generated enough pressure to make this a matchup worth avoiding.

The upcoming schedule adds to the appeal. After the Jets, New England gets Chicago and Miami, two defenses that have recently allowed efficient passing performances. AJ Brown’s eventual return would only add another weapon to the offense.
Maye checks in at QB7 for Week 6, firmly inside the standard QB1 range. The recent production may not be perfectly sustainable, but the matchup and schedule are strong enough to keep him in lineups.
Brock Purdy’s Week 6 Fantasy Outlook vs. Washington
Purdy finished below 200 passing yards and with single-digit rushing yards last week, both season lows, but Seattle has consistently been a difficult matchup for him.
Washington presents a very different setup. The Commanders have allowed opposing quarterbacks to exceed their season-average fantasy production by more than 50% in four of five games. Dak Prescott, Sam Darnold, and Jameis Winston have all topped 25 fantasy points against them.

Purdy has also been more efficient and aggressive this season. He is averaging 28.8% more fantasy points per pass attempt than last year, while his deep-throw rate has climbed from 18% in 2025 to 23.2% this season.
He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in eight straight games against opponents other than Seattle, including the playoffs. With Mike Evans continuing to make plays downfield, Purdy has both the matchup and supporting cast to get back on track.
Purdy sits at QB3 for Week 6. Other quarterbacks may carry more raw ceiling, but few offer a stronger combination of floor, efficiency, and matchup.
