Just out here conquering the NFL and giant bears.
The majority of people spend their retirement with some beach relaxation or taking a cross-country trip in their RV, but ex-Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Rob Havenstein isn't playing those games.
A Super Bowl champion who recently retired, Havenstein went to Alaska for a hunting trip, and holy moly, did he walk away with a kill. (RELATED: Raiders' Fernando Mendoza Makes Official NFL Debut — Here's How He Did)
Taking to his Instagram page Thursday, the 34-year-old posted numerous pictures from his trip, with the centerpiece being a gargantuan—and I mean gargantuan—brown bear.

"I knew when I retired that I wanted to go somewhere wild, experience something outside of my comfort zone and chase incredible critters," wrote Havenstein in his Instagram post. "Alaskan Brown Bear presented that opportunity.
"The main goal was obviously to hunt a mature brown bear, but what I took home with me was so much more than that. Appreciation for these incredible animals and the beautiful habitat they live in."
Most of us can barely fathom the physical toll of blocking for an NFL pass rush for over a decade, let alone trading the controlled chaos of the gridiron for the unpredictable wilderness of Alaska.
When you look at the world of sports, most professional athletes either get a cushy TV job, get a lot of golf in, or both. Rinse and repeat, right?
So you've got to love what Rob Havenstein did here. I mean, damn, the size of that bear is incredible.
