Jamie Lee Curtis had a bone to pick with Jimmy Fallon when she visited *The Tonight Show** *on Wednesday.**

The *Halloween *star opened up her conversation with the comedian by outright asking him why he doesn’t invite her on his show more often.

“This is my second time with you. I don’t know why,” Curtis said. “Why have you rejected me? Why have you rejected me so much?”

But Fallon wasn’t rising to the bait. “Give me a break,” he teased. “You are unbelievable.”

To which Curtis fired back, “I was only here twice!”

The late-night host explained that “the only reason” he believes Curtis hasn’t been on *The Tonight Show* more often is because she lives in Los Angeles.

“We love you!” he added.

“Well, thanks for ridiculing me for where I live,” she replied. “I’m born and raised in the City of Angels.”

When Fallon laughed at Curtis’ display of hometown pride, she insisted, “It *is* the City of Angels!”

“I know," Fallon said, "but no one calls it that."

Curtis, in response, threw her hand in the air and turned to the audience with an unimpressed expression.

“Wow,” she said, before turning back to Fallon. “Are we going to get into, like, a thing?”

Fallon very much did not want to get into a thing.

“No!” he exclaimed. “The thing is this: You have an open invitation, and I want you to come on the show anytime you’re in New York. I don’t care what you have going on. Anything. I absolutely adore you and everyone on the staff absolutely adore you.”

Satisfied with his response, Curtis replied, “Thank you. That’s very nice of you.”

The actress later explained that she really does like Fallon, despite giving him a hard time over her lack of invites to* The Tonight Show*.

“You’re a very nice man. You’re handsome. You have a very talented group of people,” she said, referring to the show's house band the Roots. “Nice audience."

“We have the best,” Fallon agreed. “This is why I want you to come back every week. So good for my ego!”

The pair appeared to be back in friendly territory until Curtis unintentionally dissed both Fallon and horror filmmaker Jason Blum at the same time during their conversation.

“I’m sure you’ve met Jason Blum. You guys are very similar,” she said. “Do you know Jason Blum? The two of you, you’re immature but handsome, but... no, wait!”

Fallon, in turn, gave Curtis a deadpan look as the audience laughed.

"I think we’re booked for the next year,” he joked, taking out a pen and scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

“No, no, no,” a laughing Curtis maintained, trying to convey her point without doing any further psychic damage to the host. “You have a youthful exuberance about your life and your passion for what you do!”
