Jordyn Woods' “lucky” orange bag has officially secured its spot in history.
After the fashion designer and fiancée of Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns supported the team by bringing her lucky orange bag to nearly every game leading up to their historic championship win, the Tux Clutch Mini bag will be honored and put on display at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
“A courtside icon is coming our way 👝👀🏀,” the museum captioned a video of Woods, 28, holding up the bag before a museum curator places it on a dedicated display.
In the background of the clip, Towns' voice could be heard saying, "The bag did its thing tonight, I ain't gonna lie to you. We gotta put this in like the Whitney or the Guggenheim.”
As for how Woods' accessory became the team's good luck charm? Well, the bag was in the building with her for every Knicks Finals game that resulted in a win for New York. And when a no-bag policy prevented her from bringing the clutch into Madison Square Garden for Game 3, due to President Donald Trump's plans to attend the game, the Knicks lost.
"I made this sample for the playoffs," Woods explained on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle earlier this month. "I started wearing it, we won the game and it became a superstition.”
“It really went viral when I couldn't bring it and it was the first game we lost, I think, in 50 days or something," she added. "After [the Knicks parade], I'm going to hang it in the rafters. I think she needs a rest."

After the team brought home its first championship win in over 50 years, Towns, 30, called the bag “one of the greatest clothing articles in the history of basketball.”
Woods later brought the iconic bag to the June 18 Knicks parade in New York City.

In a photo from the festivities, Towns could be seen holding up the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in one hand and the orange clutch in the other.
Alongside another snap of Mayor Zohran Mamdani proudly holding up the orange bag in front of his Knicks jersey, Woods wrote, “WE OUTSIDEEE.”

Given all the hype surrounding Woods' ostrich leather purse — which retailed for $125 from her Woods by Jordyn brand — it has been completely sold out since the Knicks took home their trophy.
"The response to the lucky bag (Tux Clutch Mini) has been truly incredible, and we are so grateful for the overwhelming love and support,” the brand shared on Instagram on June 16. “We were honestly shocked by the extraordinary response.”
"As a result, we have to set the product as 'Made-to-Order,' this way everyone who wants the lucky bag has an opportunity to purchase,” the post continued. "Thank you for believing in Woods and for being a part of this special moment for our brand.”
