In the upcoming episode, Sam will also connect with a woman from the past. Even though not much is known about this character, it could be someone from the NCIS franchise. Meanwhile, Nick would be subpoenaed by the NYPD for a case. Will the case affect Nick's career, or will he be let go? In the promo, Nick appears to be in full action. However, in the previous episode, he suffered a concussion while stopping Coach Villante from escaping. He was successful in taking down Villante; however, his swift yet violent approach might cause trouble in the future and put him at risk. Additionally, his impulsiveness might also put the team at risk.
Special Agent Addison and Special Agent Wyatt Sellers' professional partnership is a treat to watch. It remains to be seen how their dynamic evolves.
Speaking at the New York Comic Con, LL Cool J revealed that he would love to do crossovers with different NCIS franchise shows. In an interview with Good Housekeeping, he said,
"That being said, we're open to collaborating with the whole universe. Like, there's no show in the universe that we wouldn't collaborate with on some level, you know?”
Thus, in the upcoming episodes of NCIS: New York, the viewers might be treated to an epic crossover episode.
