Olivia Rodrigo put a romantic spin on her latest fashion moment for “The Hollywood Reporter.” The singer appeared in a series of striking black-and-white portraits from the publication’s October 2026 cover story. While the shoot kept things relatively understated, Rodrigo still found a way to make the look feel effortlessly daring.

For the photos, Olivia Rodrigo wore an Alexander McQueen mini dress from the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The light-colored taffeta dress featured an all-over rose jacquard pattern, giving the otherwise playful silhouette a delicate finish. Priced at $7,300, the light green dress was one of 20 in the collection, as noted by a fashion fan account.

The micro minidress featured a low, curved neckline framed by gathered detailing and short puff sleeves. From there, the design opened into an extremely voluminous skirt, with layers of fabric creating a floaty, babydoll-like shape.

Its seriously short hemline made the biggest statement. In one portrait, Rodrigo sat with her hands resting near the front of the skirt as the fabric barely skimmed the tops of her thighs. Another shot turned up the drama as she crossed one leg over the other and slightly lifted the Alexander McQueen dress, putting her legs on full display.
