Olivia Rodrigo is dialing up the drama for an exciting new music moment. The singer joined forces with Chappell Roan for a collaboration that already has fans buzzing. And the first promotional shots came with a seriously memorable fashion moment.
Olivia Rodrigo’s plunging Dolce & Gabbana studded leather bustier top is vintage and strappy
Olivia Rodrigo posed in a vintage black Dolce & Gabbana bustier that brought plenty of edge to the retro-inspired shoot. According to the fashion account named Olivia Rodrigo Clothing, the piece is a vintage 1991 studded leather bustier top from the Italian fashion house.
The fitted design featured a plunging neckline that dipped across Rodrigo’s chest, while rows of silver-toned studs covered the black leather. Structured seams and paneling gave the piece its corset-like shape.
Rodrigo’s plunging top was suspended from just two narrow straps over her shoulders. The barely-there straps left the neckline and shoulders exposed while allowing the studded leather construction to take center stage.

Rodrigo styled the vintage bustier with a voluminous white tulle skirt, creating a dramatic contrast between the tough leather top and softer bottom. She completed the playful look with an oversized baby pink bow positioned in her long, dark waves. Rosy cheeks and a bright red lip leaned even further into the retro aesthetic.
The look appeared in promotional imagery for Rodrigo’s upcoming collaboration with Chappell Roan, titled “expectations.” Rodrigo announced on Instagram that the song and accompanying video are released on Thursday. The two stars posed together in a yellow-gold convertible against a glittering gold backdrop, with Rodrigo’s bustier top standing out. Roan went for an equally bold look. She wore a strapless red plaid corset-style top that hugged her torso. She paired the top with a voluminous black skirt covered in gold dots, bringing extra drama to the outfit.
