Parker Posey looks almost completely unrecognizable in a new clip from Wild Horse Nine.
The actress debuted a red, shaggy-haired look paired with blue eyeshadow.
This is her first role since The White Lotus.
Parker Posey certainly knows how to transform for a role. Who could ever forget her wacky Southern drawl spewing out words like “Lorazepam” in The White Lotus? For her latest role, the actress has gone one step further and bid farewell to her signature brunette locks in favor of a bold new hue.

In a new clip from the upcoming film Wild Horse Nine, which was shared by People, the actress rocked a bright red hair look in a shaggy, flippy, layered lob. She added even more drama to the look with a swipe of bright blue eyeshadow.

In the clip, Posey is in full swing as Marge, who is the wife of Sam Rockwell’s character, Lee. The clip shows the pair having a riotous argument over the phone.
Last year, Posey took on a very different character as Victoria Ratliff in The White Lotus in her last on-screen role. And she became even more of an icon in the process thanks to some wonderful press tour moments.

“I forgot who died,” Posey told The Hollywood Reporter at the end of the much-hyped season. “It was so stressful when I read it. The dark stuff, I blazed through.” Posey was nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards for the performance.

Last year, Posey also partnered up with the Gap for a new campaign—reclaiming her crown as a style icon, who has been an It girl since the ‘90s thanks to roles in films like You’ve Got Mail and Party Girl.
“Style is a conversation with yourself that you’re going to have with others as you go out about your day,” she reflected to us at the time. “As a woman, when you show up in that way, it just helps. It helps you along. It helps to connect.”
