Prince William and Kate Middleton have departed from Balmoral.
They will soon send their 13-year-old son, Prince George, off to Eton College.
Charlotte and Louis, meanwhile, will return to Lambrook for school.

As reported by Hello! Magazine on August 27, the Wales family (which also includes their children Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8) left the estate earlier this week.
The family will mark an important milestone in the coming weeks, as they send George off to Eton College, where his father and uncle, Prince Harry, also went. Charlotte and Louis, meanwhile, will return to Lambrook for school.
A source spoke with Hello! about why Eton was the best choice for George: “You can see Eton College from Windsor Castle. So that would be lovely for George to be able to pop home. And the boys now are allowed a little bit of freedom to pop in and out of school at the weekends, to come home for Sunday lunch or tea on a Saturday evening after their sports fixtures.”

Their move comes amid Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the U.K. with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The family of four reportedly landed in Birmingham on Wednesday, August 26.
While the location of Archie and Lilibet’s school remains under wraps, one of Harry’s “friends” spoke with the Daily Mail last September about his children’s education prospects.
“I can tell you that Harry wants to educate the children here in the U.K.,” the source said. “Harry feels his children are missing out on the extensive family network that their niece and nephews are enjoying.”

The insider continued, “Harry wants his children to have the very best education. He has retained his closest friendship group of confidants from his days at school at Ludgrove and Eton. He wants that for his own children.”
