Itās likely that Camilla and Charles also enjoy plenty of solo reading sessions, as they often spend weekends apart. Charles embraces his passion for gardening at his country home, Highgrove House, while Camilla retreats to Ray Mill House, a mansion she owned before marrying Charles in 2005.
During an August appearance on The Daily Mailās āPalace Confidentialā show, royal editor Rebecca English said this arrangement suits the couple, and has likely contributed to the longevity of their decades-long love story. āThey also live quite independent lives and I donāt think it affects their relationship at all,ā she said, adding, āI can understand why it looks a little odd to people, but it actually works for them.ā
