Matthew Stafford finds Davante Adams for a touchdown in the first touchdown of the game as the Rams have a 7-6 lead over the Bills.

After the Buffalo Bills’ first two drives ended in field goals and the Los Angeles Rams first drive ended in a missed 50-yard field goal by Harrison Mevis, quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with receiver Davante Adams on first and goal for the first touchdown of the game. It gave the Rams a 7-6 lead.

This is Adams’ first touchdown of the season when fellow receiver Puka Nacua was also in the game. His first two scores of the season both came in the Rams Week 2 win against the New York Giants.

Buffalo will need to start scoring touchdowns instead of field goals if they are going to win this game since Los Angeles’ offense is starting to cook on Monday Night Football. The Bills are missing receivers DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer and their absence is being felt through the first quarter and a half of the game.
